During a train ride, tennis player Guy Haines is made a macabre proposal by the eccentric Bruno Anthony: murder on reciprocity. Bruno wants to kill Guy's wife, for this is supposed to eliminate Guy Bruno's strict father. Guy considers this devilish proposal a bad joke. But the scary stranger executes his murder plan. A short time later, Guy's wife is found murdered. Now we Guy suspected by the police as a killer, on the other hand, Bruno puts him under pressure. Because now it's up to Guy to fulfill his part of the agreement...
