From the BMC Toys CLASSIC TOY SOLDIER COLLECTOR SERIES, a lazy ranch bakes in the sun. The DESERT RANCH 15 piece set includes 5 off-white farm animals, 6 brown rustic fence sections, 2 light gray dead trees and 2 green cacti. The animals include 2 farm horses, 2 different longhorn steer cattle, and a lying down riding horse all made from slightly stiff LDPE plastic with lots of nice detail. The cactus, fences, and trees are made from slightly stiff HDPE plastic with a medium amount of detail. The animals stand up to 2.25 inches tall, trees are 4.75 inches tall, cacti is 2.18 inches tall, and fence sections are 5.95 inches long. The fences interlock in a zig-zag pattern and include 4 regular sections and 2 'damaged' looking sections. Parts are approximately 1:32 scale, but work with any 1:35 to 1:29 scale figures.

These accessories were initially offered to hobby collectors by Classic Toy Soldiers Company around 2001. The pieces were inspired by those in several famous playsets offered by Louis Marx and Company in the 1960s and 1970s. Classic Toy Soldiers Co. worked with BMC Toys to make them available to today's youngsters. BMC Toys was founded by Bill McMaster in 1991 and specializes in producing historically accurate plastic army men figures and playsets in the classic realistic style of the 1950s and 1960s.

These accessories are a perfect addition for almost any setup including animal and figure tubes, plastic army men, western cowboys and indians, playsets, or school project dioramas. Packaged in clear bag with header card and recommended for ages 5 and up.
